As the director of Forsythe's data center services practice, Fred Latala is responsible for the company's overall data center relocation strategy, vision, best-practice models, and the quality of solutions delivered. Latala manages the company's relationships with key data center relocation partners including EMC, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, StorageTek, and Sun Microsystems. During his tenure at Forsythe, Latala has been focused primarily on data center infrastructure and the discipline of data center relocations. Latala has more than 20 years of experience in IT.
Prior to joining Forsythe, Latala held leadership positions with Coors Brewing Company, Sears Technology Services, Citicorp, and Advanced Systems Applications (PMSC). In his nine years at Coors, Latala served as director of IT infrastructure and, most recently, as director of manufacturing IT. Latala also represented Coors Brewing Company on numerous industry panels including the Microsoft Executive Advisory Board and the Gartner Group SAP Best Practices Panel.
Latala holds an MBA from the University of Denver and a bachelor's degree in computer science from DePaul University.
