As senior vice president and general manager of the central area at Forsythe, Bob Dvorak is responsible for all sales activity in the company’s central region, which covers Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
During his nearly 20 years at Forsythe, Dvorak has served in a number of national sales management positions and earned numerous distinctions, including salesperson of the year and multiple Forsythe President’s Club awards. Additionally, Dvorak has provided innovative direction for the company with the creation and development of Forsythe’s professional services framework for CIO Essentials and creating a product focus on emerging technologies for Forsythe clients.
Prior to focusing on Forsythe’s central region, he was responsible for the development of the company’s western region. Before that, he oversaw sales activity in the western half of the U.S, an area which experienced double-digit growth in product sales and professional consulting services under his leadership.
Dvorak’s 25 years of industry experience include both computer hardware and software sales at Unisys Corporation (f/k/a Burroughs Corp.), Northbrook, Illinois; Dun & Bradstreet Software (f/k/a MSA Software), Oak Brook, Illinois; and Computer Associates, Inc. (f/k/a Cullinet Software), Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in physics as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois. He received his MBA from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
Dvorak serves on the board of Forsythe Technology, Inc., Forsythe Solutions Group, Inc. and Forsythe/McArthur Associates, Inc. as well as the company’s senior leadership team.
