Al Weiss is executive vice president and CFO of Forsythe Technology, Inc. Weiss, who sits on the board of directors of Forsythe Technology, served as executive vice president and CFO of Forsythe McArthur from 1984-1991.
Prior to rejoining Forsythe in 2000, Weiss served as vice president and chief financial officer of Alltech Data Systems, a network integration company. He was instrumental in the sale of Alltech in 1999 to Datatec Ltd., a global network distribution and e-commerce service provider, which renamed the company Logical Network Services.
Weiss’s additional previous experience includes five years with Computer Access, a Denver-based PC reseller, where he was a principal shareholder and, as chief financial officer, negotiated the sale of the company. Weiss was also with Continental Bank, Chicago, for 10 years, serving as vice president and division manager of what was, at that time, one of the country’s leading lending groups to the leasing industry.
Weiss has served on the board of directors of the Equipment Leasing Association (ELA) and the Foundation for Leasing Education.
He holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
