As Forsythe’s senior vice president of systems solutions and technology products, Michael Qualley oversees Forsythe’s server and storage consulting practices and is responsible for delivering the cross-platform, multi-vendor technology product and support services components of Forsythe’s full-service IT infrastructure solution offerings. Previously, Qualley served as Forsythe’s vice president of support services, focused on building the company’s maintenance contract, support contract, and software license management business—an expanding segment of Forsythe’s "one stop shopping" IT infrastructure services model.
Before joining Forsythe, Qualley worked with ABN AMRO North America to launch Neogration Inc., a provider of outsourcing services that leveraged ABN AMRO’s in-house business process and technology investments. As president and chief operating officer of Neogration, Qualley was responsible for the company’s overall direction, including evaluating the market viability of new offerings, developing asset commercialization processes, and building partnerships with other technology leaders.
Prior to launching Neogration, Qualley served as vice president of technology, professional services, and operations for Commerx, Inc., a Chicago-based provider of business process automation technologies and services focused on procurement, fulfillment, and supply chain collaboration. In this position, Qualley was responsible for all phases of the company’s private trading networks, including strategic partnerships, product development, implementation services, and client support services.
Qualley has also served in various executive positions in Chicago and Amsterdam with ABN AMRO, most recently as vice president of technology solutions, responsible for the development and support of ABN AMRO North America’s vertical Internet applications division. In this position, he led the development of IT platforms for the corporate, retail, investment, and commercial bank groups. Previously, Qualley headed the bank’s global groupware and messaging division out of its Amsterdam headquarters.
Qualley began his career with systems integrator Crowe Chizek and Company LLC, where he was a senior supply chain consultant responsible for the design and supervision of MRP installations that bridged legacy software packages to new systems.
Qualley holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana. He is a member of the Society for Information Management (SIM).
