As president, Forsythe Technology Canada and vice president, managed services, Siobhan Byron is responsible for developing and implementing Forsythe’s corporate strategy in the new managed services line of business. Forsythe's managed services provide a foundation for managing risk and cost to enable focus on core business operations and growth.
Byron has more than more than 15 years of experience in the IT and professional services industry. During this time, she has held numerous positions in executive, management, senior project and program management and international consulting. Before joining Forsythe, Byron was vice president of professional services at MTS Allstream, a leading communication solutions provider where she was responsible for the sales, delivery and operations of the central region.
Previous roles at MTS Allstream included: managing director, professional services; national director, project management office (PMO); and director, ERP practice. Byron started her career in the IT Department of Bank of Ireland before moving on to project management and consulting at Systemhouse and EDS. During her time with Systemhouse, Byron worked on international assignments in Ireland, UK, Canada, USA and Portugal.
Byron earned her bachelor’s degree in computing science from the University of Ulster, Ireland. She also holds her MBA degree from the University of Liverpool. Byron is also a certified project manager (PMP).
Byron is a member of Forsythe Technology Canada’s board of directors.
