TESTIMONIALS

“What I liked best about being an intern at Forsythe is that every employee treated me as an individual and went out of their way to ensure that I understood what I was learning. The internship enabled me to expand my knowledge outside the classroom and gain valuable experience. I was able to work closely in a small team and independently to successfully complete a major IT project for the company. Every day I came in I knew that at the end of the day, I would be leaving the office knowing I have learned new information and have accomplished something meaningful.

The best experience I got from Forsythe’s internship program is that it allowed me to meet and interact with senior leadership and upper management. This was a helpful way for me to seek advice from someone who has already been in my position. The internship also allowed me to do cross functional projects with other departments and interns. I had found this to be very beneficial to me by getting to know the other parts of the company and the other interns. Overall, I would highly recommend Forsythe’s internship program to anyone looking to gain knowledge and be part of a successful company.”

“What impressed me the most about my Forsythe experience was the commitment from everyone within the organization to the internship program.  From the day I arrived, I was welcomed with opportunities to meet and work with senior leadership throughout the organization.  Everyone had a welcoming attitude and was always willing to assist with projects or simply make time to discuss their careers and lend their insights.  In addition, the social activities provided a great opportunity to get to know the fellow interns outside of the traditional work setting.”

Overall, the internship program at Forsythe was a wonderful experience.  It allowed me to enhance the skills I had developed in school and build an incredible network in the process.  I would highly recommend Forsythe to anyone looking for hands-on experience with a company with a great culture and friendly atmosphere.”

“Forsythe is an amazing company to work for. In the six months I have been here, I have been able to work with many different teams and contribute to several projects. Within my first month, I had been asked to map and audit some of the company processes and was able to present my findings to senior leadership. Not only did they then ask for my recommendations, but several are currently being implemented. I was also able to help evolve an existing initiative that produced reports for both internal and client use. Currently, I am helping in the creation of new blocks within that initiative and am responsible for the next quarterly release of the program. I am now moving on to being a full-time employee here and could not be more excited!

Forsythe is full of people who can not only offer guidance, but eagerly seek your input. Most companies use interns for basic duties to lower costs; here, I immediately felt like part of the family and appreciated – that I was truly contributing to the well-being of the company. If you want to work for a company that asks what you think, lets you pursue your interests, and has a familial culture, you can find it at Forsythe!”

“Forsythe’s summer internship program is not your typical internship as you are expected and encouraged to provide value to key initiatives from the very start.  Employees treat you as a colleague and understand that your role truly impacts the business.  In addition, you’re given the opportunity to learn from and meet an approachable and experienced executive team on multiple occasions. The day-to-day activities and work environment has proven to be invaluable as it directly translates to the type of experience employers are looking for. In short, the Forsythe internship has provided me the experience and direction to pursue my career.”

“Forsythe allowed me to grow both as an individual and a business professional. I expanded my knowledge in several different technical fields. My manager was an incredible mentor who created the right amount of guidance mixed with autonomy in order to maximize my performance. The accessibility of the senior leadership team is incredible here at Forsythe; at no other business have I ever heard of executives taking the time to meet the interns and treat them as part of a team. The Forsythe employees have a passion for the company and want to help interns and new employees develop, succeed and grow with the company.”

“My summer internship at Forsythe was a great experience. I worked with the CFO and other financial directors to enhance a financial forecasting model that is used in the company’s stock valuation and financing negotiations. It was empowering to work on a project that had a very real impact on the business. The people I worked with took time to make sure I understood the nuances of the business and encouraged me to share my ideas for improvement.”

“Forsythe’s size and the approachability of business leaders made it a very good place to intern.  The internship program emphasizes interaction with senior leaders who are very supportive of the program.  As an MBA intern I felt that Forsythe gave me the opportunity to use skills I had acquired in school and from prior employers, while also teaching me a great deal more about finance and the ESOP structure. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Forsythe as a place to do an internship.”
